Position Overview
Telemynd is looking for psychiatrists and nurse practitioners (PMHMP) to provide quality, individualized psychopharmacological treatment to our growing network of patients. Today, Telemynd works with over one thousand licensed clinicians and prescribers across all 50 states who serve patients via our behavioral health platform. Our providers help address a significant need for high quality psychopharmacological care throughout the country.

Prescriber Responsibilities and Position Requirements:
- Perform diagnostic assessments and medical evaluations
- Complete clinical documentation in compliance with payor standards
- Maintain clear, up-to-date patient records and communications in HIPAA compliant EHR
- Respond within reasonable timeframe to patient questions and refill requests
- Create and monitor patient treatment plans
- Order and analyze diagnostic tests
- Provide patient education regarding medications, risks, benefits, and reasonable outcome expectations
- Provide therapeutic and emotional support
- Provide culturally sensitive, patient-centered care
- Work collaboratively with members of Telemynd’s support teams
- Provide community referral sources as required
- When relevant, meet with Collaborating NP or MD according to company policies and state requirements
- Maintain a confidential and professional looking virtual office space
- Remain in compliance with company policies and procedures
- Maintain good standing with all licensing boards
- Complete all required continuing education requirements for licensure and specializations
Qualifications & Skills:
- Proven clinical and diagnostic skills
- Effective communication skills with providers, patients, and other collaterals
- Strong technology skills sufficient to work within a modern EHR, deliver telehealth services, orders labs, send/receive emails, and complete medication refill requests/prior authorizations
- Ability to handle sensitive information discreetly to maintain confidentiality
- Proficient time management, organization, and prioritization skills
- Demonstrated knowledge of HIPAA Confidentiality and Privacy Policies
- Competent, self-motivated, and able to work independently with minimal supervision
- Ability to work collaboratively with both senior clinical and non-clinical staff
Requirements:
- Must be licensed as a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP) or a Doctor of Medicine with a specialization in psychiatry and required state license(s)
- Must have Full Practice Authority in the state of Illinois
- Two-plus years of post-PMHNP licensure experience required

- Typical earnings for prescribers in our network range between $155K-$250K per year.
