CNC Setup/Operator Job Description

Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled CNC Operator to join our manufacturing team. The ideal candidate will have a strong mechanical background and experience with various CNC machinery. This role is crucial in ensuring that our production processes run smoothly and efficiently, producing high-quality components that meet our specifications.

SWISS LATHE KNOWLEDGE HIGHLY DESIRED BUT NOT REQUIRED

Job Hours:

Fri-Sun 6AM - 6PM (12 hour days, 3 days per week)

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate CNC machines, including lathes and mills, to produce precision parts.
• Read and interpret technical drawings and CAD files to understand specifications.
• Utilize hand tools and measuring instruments such as micrometers to ensure accuracy in production.
• Perform routine maintenance on machines to ensure optimal performance.
• Troubleshoot any issues that arise during the machining process.
• Collaborate with team members to improve production processes and efficiency.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to safety protocols.

Requirements

• Proven mechanical knowledge with a strong understanding of tooling and machining processes.
• Familiarity with CAD software for interpreting designs and specifications.
• Experience working with various machinery, including welders, presses, and CNC equipment.
• Proficient in the use of hand tools and measuring devices such as micrometers.
• Ability to work effectively in a factory environment with logic controllers.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
