Essential Duties And Responsibilities
- The main purpose of this position is to function as support to the Project Engineering team participating in the design and execution of solutions to meet customers’ requirements.
- Primary tasks may include sustaining engineering activities (continuous improvement of existing products), cost reduction projects, process efficiency analysis, creating designs in CAD and providing input to Drafting.
- Responsibilities include participating in formal Design Reviews and assisting senior engineers with project work related to customer orders.
- Support product Qualification activities as assigned.
- Participate in Failure Analysis activities, and support generation of technical input to FEA (Finite Element Analysis) evaluation.
- Proactively participate in the Project Engineering Team environment and follow the direction and leadership of senior staff.
- Pursuing a BS degree or equivalent in Mechanical/ Structural or Electrical Engineering, or related discipline
- A strong Engineering aptitude with hands-on capabilities
- Understanding of general safety practices in high pressure, thermal, and electrical operational and test environments
- Familiarity with basic temperature, pressure, insulation resistance, continuity resistance, mechanical stress/strain
- Functional skills with SolidWorks, AutoCAD or similar CAD program
- MS Office Suite proficiency (MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
- Good written and oral communication techniques
- Work effectively as a member of a team through cooperation and group participation
- Ability to handle multiple assigned tasks in high growth, fast paced environment
- Willing and capable of resolving differences with others openly and constructively
- Constructively reacts to feedback from superiors, customers and peers
- Keeps management informed of positive and negative information that would have significant impact on him/her and/or the organization
- Perform to the highest professional and ethical standards in every aspect of the job
