Job Description
The Engineering Intern – AI-Assisted Mobile Testing & Migration will support the development, testing, and modernization of mobile applications used for aircraft maintenance and aircraft performance operations in safety‑critical, operational environments. This internship focuses on applying AI‑assisted tools and techniques to improve the testing and reliability of mobile applications that support aircraft health monitoring, maintenance workflows, aircraft performance calculations, and flight crew or ground crew decision support. The role also contributes to technology migration initiatives, including mobile framework upgrades, platform transitions, and CI/CD modernization aligned with regulated aviation software practices.
This role is ideal for students pursuing degrees in Aerospace Engineering, Software Engineering, or related fields who are interested in aircraft systems, performance engineering, mobile application development, test automation, AI‑assisted engineering workflows, and modern software practices supporting aviation operations.
Essential Duties And Responsibilities
This is a full-time position, and hours of work and days are Monday through Friday within one hour plus/minus of 7:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. This position may at times require long hours and weekend or holiday work reflecting workload and deadlines.

- Assist with manual and automated testing for iOS and Android applications.
- Support AI-assisted testing workflows including test generation and analysis.
- Contribute to mobile application technology and framework migration efforts.
- Validate behavior across devices, OS versions, and environments.
- Support CI/CD-based test execution (e.g., GitHub Actions).
- Document test cases and results using Jira-based tools.
- Participate in Agile ceremonies and collaborate with engineering teams.
- Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in a relevant engineering discipline.
- Exposure to software testing, mobile apps, or AI technologies is a plus but not required.
- Basic programming in Python, Swift, or C#
- Git and source control fundamentals
