What You’ll Do
- Plan, schedule, and monitor material movement in production cycle to ensure continuous operations to meet due dates.
- Supports overall program or product production schedule and critical path analysis.
- Reviews and provides input for program schedules in MS Project format, updates detailed WIP status and reports regularly to product team.
- Ensure timely kitting and fulfillment of manufacturing order material requirements to the manufacturing floor, outside vendor, or Engineering team to support schedules.
- Lead product or program close-out process; ensure accuracy and physical count of program owned inventory, work with Quality Engineering, Program Office, Shipping and Contracts to disposition the residual assets according to customer direction before the end of the contract.
- Good understanding of manufacturing processes, quality requirements and inventory management in product-based high mix, low volume production environment.
- Excellent verbal, written and presentation communication skills
- Advanced computer proficiency using Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel & Power Point).
- General knowledge of MES/Software products and implementation; familiarity with Dynafact.
- High School Diploma or some college with at least five (5) years of experience in inventory or production control, in ISO9001 or AS9100 qualified high-tech manufacturing environment; or equivalent combination of education and experience
- U.S. citizenship due to access restrictions.
