We are looking for a Project Management Assistant to grow our project management team with an organized, skilled, and self-motivated person. We are looking for a PMA to join our team and support the organization, while providing direct assistance to the Project Managers to help ensure projects run smoothly from start to finish.
Duties/Responsibilities/Tasks
- Works directly with entire PM team helping with administrative duties including:
- Submittals
- Drawings – As-builts
- Job packages – Job Folders
- Material Procurement
- Schedules
- Job Kickoff – Assist and develop full-scale project plans and associated communications documents.
- Closeout meetings - Conduct project post mortems and create recommendations report to identify successful and unsuccessful projects
- Billing – Schedule of values
- Proactively manage changes in project scope
- Job update reporting
- Test results
- Other project administrative work
- Effectively communicate project expectations to team members in a timely and clear fashion
- Work within schedules and plans of operation for projects in close consultation with the Project Manager.
Skills Required
- Strong organizational and problem-solving skills. Ability to multi-task a must.
- Excellent communication and leadership.
- Proficient with the use of Microsoft programs
- Must have excellent interpersonal communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Must have an obsession with details
- Experience in project management or a similar support role within the construction, electrical, or low voltage contracting industry.
- Must be able to work in a team environment
- Must have great time management
- Ability to meet deadlines and adapt to changing requirements with a positive attitude.
Skills Preferred
- Knowledge of ProCore software.
- Knowledge of BlueBeam.
- Bachelor’s degree in business administration, management, or a related field.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $50,000.00 - $70,000.00 per year
