Role Description The Shipping and Receiving Coordinator is a full-time, on-site role based at TeleConnect Direct’s facility in Atlanta, GA. This role is responsible for coordinating daily inbound and outbound shipments, including verifying orders, preparing packing lists and labels, and ensuring accurate documentation. The coordinator will receive, inspect, and record incoming equipment, update inventory systems, and stage items for refurbishment, storage, or resale. Daily tasks include organizing the warehouse, safely handling and moving equipment, operating material handling equipment, and maintaining clean and orderly shipping and receiving areas. The role also involves communicating with internal teams and logistics partners to resolve shipping issues, track deliveries, and support efficient asset recovery operations.
Qualifications
- Proficiency in Shipping & Receiving processes, including order verification, documentation, and carrier coordination.
- Experience with Inventory Control, such as cycle counting, stock accuracy, and use of basic inventory software or ERP systems.
- Strong Communication skills to work effectively with warehouse staff, refurbishment teams, logistics partners, and management.
- Hands-on Material Handling skills, with the ability to safely move, load, and unload equipment
- Prior experience in a warehouse, logistics, or distribution environment, ideally handling technology or electronic equipment.
- Ability to lift and move equipment safely, stand for extended periods, and work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven setting.
- Strong attention to detail, basic math skills, and the ability to follow standard operating procedures and safety guidelines.
- High school diploma or equivalent; additional training in logistics, supply chain, or warehouse operations is a plus.
