PMC / Materials Control Specialist

Overview
We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented PMC / Materials Control Specialist to join our dynamic manufacturing and supply chain team. In this role, you will be responsible for managing material planning, procurement, inventory control, and logistics to ensure seamless production operations. Your expertise will help optimize inventory levels, coordinate with suppliers, and support production schedules through effective materials management. Key Responsibilities

Production Planning & Order Management:

• Develop and maintain monthly, weekly, and daily production plans based on customer orders and delivery schedules
• Monitor production progress, resolve exceptions, and ensure on-time delivery
• Participate in order review and commit delivery dates

Material Planning & Inventory Control:

• Generate material requirement plans (MRP) to ensure timely material availability
• Maintain optimal safety stock levels to prevent shortages and excess inventory
• Track supplier deliveries and resolve material shortages or delays

Warehouse & Material Control Coordination:

• Coordinate with warehouse to ensure accurate receiving, issuing, and inventory records
• Conduct cycle counts and physical inventories, analyze discrepancies
• Enforce FIFO and improve inventory turnover

Data Analysis & Reporting:

• Prepare reports on production plans, inventory status, shortages, and WIP
• Analyze slow-moving/obsolete inventory and cost impacts

Cross-functional Coordination:

• Coordinate with production, purchasing, warehouse, and sales to ensure smooth operations
• Escalate issues and drive timely resolution

Qualifications

• Education: High School Diploma or equivalent is Required.
• Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, Industrial Engineering, or related field preferred.
• Experience：Minimum of 2 years of experience in production planning, PMC, or material control in manufacturing, experience in electronics, cable manufacturing is preferred.
• Working operational knowledge of utilizing forklifts and pallet jacks for daily work tasks is required for this job. Previously possessing certifications with either one of these two pieces of equipment is strongly preferred.

• Strong knowledge of production planning, material control, and inventory management.
• Proficient in ERP/MRP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, NetSuite).
• Strong analytical skills, advanced Excel skills (macros, pivot table, v-lookups, etc.) is preferred
• Language: Fluent in English (required), Mandarin is preferred.
• Experience in U.S.-based manufacturing or multinational companies is strongly preferred.

Pay: $50,000.00 - $60,000.00 per year
