Key Responsibilities
- Maintain and reconcile vendor, client records and general ledger accounts
- Monitor cash flow
- Support month-end closing processes as directed by the Accounting Office Manager
- Assist with accounts payable/receivable data entry and general ledger maintenance
- Process settlement payments to clients
- Reconcile trust accounts to trust funds
- Learn all processes in accounting department
Qualifications
Education & Experience
- Associate degree in accounting, Business Administration, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- Must have some college level accounting classes
- 3–5 years of professional accounting experience, including month-end close and financial reporting
Technical Skills & Knowledge
- Strong knowledge of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP)
- Experience with accounting, payroll, and financial management systems
- Familiarity with QuickBooks or similar accounting software
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Office Suite
