Summary

The Permitting Specialist is responsible for processing all permit requests, assisting with new and renewal company business licenses, as well as other duties as assigned by Permitting & Licensing Lead. Superior customer service skills are required, as this position will interface with both internal departments and external parties (customers and partners).

Position Primary Responsibilities 

• Determine if a permit, contractor registration, or company business license is required for all permit request submissions.
• Pull Permits for Telaid.
• Process insurance bonds, low voltage electrical work permits, and business license applications and renewals.
• Manage Telaid COI Requests.
• Other duties which may be assigned are:
  • Bond tracking and renewal
  • Alarm registration and renewals
  • Filing and uploading documents
  • Miscellaneous tasks as required by the Permitting & Licensing Lead.

Work Experience & Education

The Permitting Specialist should possess a high school diploma or equivalent, as well as 2-3 years of permitting/data entry experience in a multi-state environment. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
