Project Manager

TELACU Construction Management is looking for an experienced construction Project Manager who will be responsible for managing the modernization of public works and school projects. The ideal candidate should have 7 years of experience in K-12 DSA educational construction and/or public works, with experience in creating and managing each project and their individual budgets, schedules, project priority list, bid documents, front end documents, district standards, design specifications, etc. This position will require knowledge in preconstruction services, planning, contractor procurement (public works contracting code), construction management, and DSA/local project closeout.Duties:Reports to the Vice President and/or DirectorOversees all subcontractorsCreates and updates the scheduleUnderstands P6 and ProjectDirect management of design planning and reviewPerforms constructability reviewsPerforms value engineeringReconciles the budget to the plansDirect management of each projectOversee the QA/QC processProduce daily reportsPhoto libraryProcess RFI's and SubmittalsReview and Process/Reject Change OrdersLead the weekly construction meetingsProduce meeting minutesAssign follow up tasksDirect management of project controls/ reportingStrong knowledge of project development to include contracts, design, construction management, project systems, delivery, and specifications to ensure relation and compliance to project requirementsManage design and construction of public works new construction and renovationsWork with the DSA or City inspector through design to closeoutManage project controls, cost, and performance activities and proceduresLead in project meetings to include documentation, administration, and tracking of relevant information and statusesProvide management of project logistics, organization, systems, and personnel resourcesEnsure project closeout to secure appropriate provisions for final project delivery to owner entitiesPerform other duties as requiredQualifications:Bachelor's Degree in engineering, construction management, architecture, or equivalent technical area of study.7 years of experience in the design and construction of K-12 school projects.Company DescriptionTELACU Construction management (TCM) is a wholly owned subsidiary of TELACU Industries, the for-profit arm of TELACU, the nation's largest Community Development Corporation. Salary : $130,000 - $170,000
