Front of House Team Member

Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Front of House Team Member to join our vibrant team. This role is essential in creating a welcoming atmosphere for our guests while ensuring efficient service and maintaining high standards of cleanliness and organization. The ideal candidate will possess strong customer service skills and a passion for the food industry, contributing to a positive dining experience.

Duties

• Greet and welcome customers as they enter the establishment, providing excellent customer service.
• Take customer orders accurately and efficiently, utilizing POS systems for transactions.
• Assist in food preparation and ensure that all food safety standards are met.
• Handle cash transactions responsibly, ensuring accurate cash handling practices.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the front of house area, including dining spaces and kitchen counters.
• Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely delivery of food orders.
• Address customer inquiries and concerns promptly, ensuring satisfaction.
• Support team members during busy periods by assisting with various tasks as needed.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in the food industry, restaurant, or café setting is preferred.
• Strong time management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively in a fast-paced environment.
• Familiarity with retail math concepts for accurate cash handling and transactions.
• Excellent customer service skills with a friendly demeanor.
• Ability to work collaboratively within a team while also being self-motivated.
• Basic knowledge of food preparation techniques is an asset but not required.
• Proficiency in using POS systems or willingness to learn quickly.
