Our client is a contract medical device manufacturer that serves as a strategic partner in medical device manufacturing, offering an end-to-end supply chain solution from initial concept and product development, to verification and validation testing, to final production, assembly, and ongoing strategic demand planning.

Job Description :
ESSENTIAL SKILLS AND RESPONSIBILITES :
Places and expedites purchase orders (POs); maintains and updates systems and documentation
Reviews ERP system for recommended buys and evaluates requirements and follows up on ERP recommendations for PO schedule changes
Communicates with internal departments to meet business goals for on time delivery
Responsible for tracking late deliveries and negotiating returns on defective materials
Assist in new part setups. location changes, and data maintenance
Other duties as assigned
QUALIFICATIONS :
Demonstrated Ability to work well with others
Ability to think strategically while remaining focused on details
Proficient with MS Office Suite.
MRP Experience
Experience working with cross-functional project teams
Highly motivated, Positive attitude
Good oral and written communication skills
Must be able to think independently, solve difficult problems, and achieve goals
EDUCATION / EXPERIENCE :
High School Diploma or equivalent
1 year of purchasing experience in a manufacturing environment
