Required Skills:

• This role requires a talented and experienced Java Developer with a strong understanding and hands on experience with Apache Iceberg to join a SLP Modernization team.
• Design, develop, and maintain data pipelines using lava and Apache Iceberg.
• Implement Iceberg table schemas and partitioning strategies.
• Architect Iceberg catalog layers
• Experience: 7• years of experience in Java development, with at least 1 years focusing on Apache Iceberg. Focusing on Java Apache Iceberg integration.
• Java Proficiency: Deep understanding of core Java concepts, object-oriented programming (OOP). libraries, and frameworks.
• Apache Iceberg: Strong understanding of Iceberg architecture, features (schema evolution, hidden partitioning, time travel, ACID transactions), and best practices. Experience with table creation, data ingestion, querying, and working with Iceberg's lava API.
• Big Data Technologies: Experience with Apache Spark.
• Cloud Platforms: Experience with cloud storage solutions like AWS S3.
• Database Experience: Strong knowledge of SQl and experience with relational databases
• Version Control: Proficiency with Git.
