What are the responsibilities and job description for the Carpenter position at Tekton Building LLC?
Tekton Building LLC is hiring a Carpenter for residential construction work throughout the Mat-Su Valley.
We are looking for someone dependable, well-rounded, and capable of completing assigned work under the direction of the Project Manager or Lead Carpenter.
Typical work may include:
- Framing and remodeling
- Decks
- Siding and exterior trim
- Windows and doors
- Finish carpentry
- Demolition and repairs
- Other custom residential projects
Applicants do not need to be experts in every area, but experience in multiple areas of residential construction is highly preferred.
Requirements:
- Minimum 2 years Residential construction or carpentry experience
- Ability to safely use common tools
- Reliable transportation and valid driver’s license
- Strong attendance, communication, and willingness to learn
- Ability to perform physical construction work; lift, carry, push, pull 50-100 lbs
Schedule: Typically Monday–Friday, 8:00 a.m.–4:30 p.m.
Pay: Based on experience and demonstrated ability
