We are seeking a Senior Software Engineer to join a collaborative, forward-thinking team focused on modernizing and enhancing the client experience. This role is ideal for a highly skilled engineer who thrives in a design-driven environment and enjoys building scalable, high-quality applications.
Key Responsibilities
- Participate in all phases of the software development lifecycle (SDLC), including requirements gathering, design, development, testing, deployment, and maintenance
- Design and build dynamic, responsive user interfaces using Angular, TypeScript, HTML, and CSS
- Develop robust, scalable backend services and APIs using C#, ASP.NET MVC, .NET Core, and Web API
- Integrate front-end applications with backend systems
- Design and manage SQL Server databases, including schema design and query optimization
- Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code
- Conduct code reviews and ensure adherence to best practices and standards
- Implement unit and integration testing to ensure high-quality deliverables
- Provide mentorship and technical guidance to junior team members
- 5–10 years of software engineering experience
- Strong expertise in C#, .NET, and ASP.NET MVC
- 5 years of experience with front-end development (Angular preferred, but not required)
- Solid understanding of object-oriented programming (OOP) principles and design patterns
- Extensive experience with SQL and relational databases
- Experience with Git or similar version control tools
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
- Ability to communicate effectively and collaborate across teams
- Experience with Azure cloud services
- Familiarity with modern DevOps practices and tools
- 80% software development (including architecture, database design, and planning)
- 20% production support and incident management
- Location: Kansas City, MO
- Schedule: 4 days onsite, 1 day remote
