Security Technician

Security & Fire Alarm Technician – Hudson, NY (Albany Area Coverage)

Pay: $20–$25/hr (Contract-to-Hire)

Schedule: Monday–Friday, 7:30 AM–4:30 PM

What You’ll Do

• Install, service, and inspect security alarm systems, CCTV, access control, and fire alarm systems for commercial clients
• Terminate and dress Cat5/Cat6 cabling for IP video systems
• Troubleshoot and maintain low-voltage systems
• Read blueprints and work with networking hardware
• Collaborate with a skilled team and occasionally work independently
• Participate in an on-call rotation for service needs
  
  
  

What We’re Looking For

• Experience with intrusion alarms, CCTV, and access control systems
• Knowledge of low-voltage wiring and IP video systems
• Ability to lift up to 30 lbs and work comfortably on ladders
• OSHA 10 certification (training provided if hired)
• Strong troubleshooting and communication skills
• Background check and drug test required

• Experience with Lenel access control, Bosch Security, or FCI fire alarm panels
• Familiarity with NEC codes and regulations
• Construction, telecom, or locksmithing Background

Pay And Benefits

The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $25.00/hr.
