Schedule: Mon-Fri, 5am to 6:30pm AZ - will be scheduled an 8 hour set shift during this time frame.
Description: The Referral and Authorization specialist is responsible for ensuring patients have been cleared for specialty service office visits; obtaining and issuing referrals for ancillary, consult, radiology or lab visits; receiving approvals for medication formularies, durable medical equipment, home health care and other items or services needed.

Qualifications
- 2 years healthcare experience with patient registration, scheduling, referrals and prior authorization - must be outside of pharmacy referrals
- Call Center and MA experience is a plus!
- Medical terminology, Insurance verification, insurance benefit knowledge, referral processing and authorization experience required.
- High school diploma or equivalent (GED)
- MUST BE LOCATED IN ARIZONA OR NEVADA
