Unlike a traditional installer role, you will act as a quality auditor and inspector , verifying that telecom and data center infrastructure has been installed properly, tested successfully, and documented accurately.

What You'll Do
- Perform daily QA/QC inspections and observations on active data center projects.
- Audit telecom infrastructure installations for compliance with project specifications and industry standards.
- Inspect copper and fiber cabling, rack layouts, cable management, labeling, and overall workmanship.
- Verify telecom equipment installations are completed correctly and functioning as designed.
- Identify installation deficiencies, potential risks, and non-conformities.
- Document findings and generate detailed inspection reports.
- Maintain organized records of audits, observations, and corrective actions.
- Communicate findings professionally with supervisors, project teams, and management.
- Support quality improvement initiatives and recommend process enhancements.
- Stay current with industry standards, manufacturer guidelines, and best practices.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years of experience in structured cabling, telecom, fiber optics, or data center environments.
- Understanding of copper and fiber optic infrastructure.
- Knowledge of installation standards, cable pathways, rack layouts, and cable dressing practices.
- Ability to identify quality issues and installation deficiencies.
- Experience working with Microsoft Office Suite.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Excellent attention to detail and documentation abilities.
- Self-motivated with the ability to work independently.
- Professional attitude and customer-focused mindset.
- QA/QC, inspection, or auditing experience.
- Familiarity with BICSI standards, TIA standards, OEM specifications, and data center best practices.
- Experience with Learning Management Systems (LMS).
- Experience in fiber optic systems, OSP, or telecom infrastructure.
- Experience delivering training or coaching teams on quality standards.

Work Environment
