Product Owner – Global Information Security | Bank of America

📍 Location: 5 Days Onsite - Denver, CO or Chicago, IL

About The Role

Join Bank of America’s Global Information Security (GIS) team and help shape the future of cybersecurity. We’re looking for a Software Product Owner to drive product vision, strategy, and delivery within a dynamic Agile environment. You’ll collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure our solutions meet business goals and deliver exceptional value.

Key Responsibilities

• Define and communicate product vision, strategy, and roadmap across teams and stakeholders.
• Own and maintain the product backlog, ensuring alignment with business objectives.
• Translate business requirements into clear, actionable user stories with well-defined acceptance criteria.
• Act as the primary liaison between stakeholders and development teams.
• Facilitate sprint planning, backlog refinement, and reviews to ensure clarity and alignment.
• Monitor progress, track KPIs, and ensure delivery of intended value.
• Engage stakeholders regularly for feedback and validation.
• Drive continuous improvement through retrospectives and process enhancements.
• Stay current with industry trends and emerging technologies to identify opportunities for innovation.
  
  
  

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Business, or related field (or equivalent experience).
• Experience with SAFe framework or SAFe PO/PM certification.
• Proven track record as a Software Product Owner or similar role in software development.
• Strong understanding of Agile methodologies, especially Scrum.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Proficiency with Jira, Confluence, and other collaboration tools.
  
  
  

Preferred Qualifications

• 8 years of experience in product management or related roles.
• Agile certifications (e.g., Certified Scrum Product Owner).
• Experience in cybersecurity, vulnerability management, or application security testing.
• Familiarity with .NET or Java development.
• Ability to write clear and detailed technical requirements.

Pay And Benefits

The pay range for this position is $60.00 - $70.00/hr.
