We are seeking a Senior Portfolio Manager to lead a portfolio of complex, multi-million-dollar initiatives within a Business Technology Solutions (BTS) Operations organization, supporting patient care and pharmacy platform ecosystems.
This role operates within Operations (not Commercial) but sits at the intersection of:
- Pharmacy platforms (e.g., cloud-based prescription management systems)
- Salesforce / enterprise CRM ecosystems
- Commercial, compliance, and patient services teams
Key Responsibilities
Portfolio & Program Leadership
- Own and manage a portfolio of multi-million-dollar initiatives (typically $4M–$5M )
- Provide a consolidated view of project health, dependencies, and risks
- Ensure alignment between business strategy, patient outcomes, and technology priorities
- Drive portfolio-level delivery excellence and governance
- Lead demand intake processes and business case validation
- Ensure initiatives meet financial and strategic thresholds prior to execution
- Support prioritization across competing initiatives and stakeholders
- Manage CapEx and OpEx budgets across the portfolio
- Track forecasts, actuals, and financial commitments using tools such as SAP and Jira
- Drive financial accountability, transparency, and cost optimization
- Support vendor evaluation and RFQ processes
- Partner closely with:
- Commercial teams
- CRM/OneHub stakeholders
- Compliance and regulatory organizations
- IT leadership
- Act as the primary point of coordination across all stakeholders
- Effectively engage with leadership ranging from Director to VP level
- Oversee delivery of initiatives across:
- Pharmacy platforms
- Salesforce/CRM enhancements
- AI, automation, and modernization efforts
- Lead Change Control Board (CCB) processes
- Ensure adherence to:
- SDLC standards
- GxP compliance requirements
- Enterprise data security policies
- Proactively identify, assess, and mitigate risks
- Maintain strong communication cadence through:
- Regular status meetings
- Executive-level reporting
- Clear documentation and action tracking
- Ensure:
- No communication gaps across teams
- Timely closure of action items
- Alignment to delivery timelines and objectives
- 8 years of experience in Program or Portfolio Management
- 4–5 years of financial management experience (CapEx/OpEx)
- Proven experience managing multi-million-dollar portfolios
- Strong background in complex, cross-functional enterprise environments
- Deep understanding of:
- SDLC processes
- GxP compliance
- Demonstrated ability to:
- Work autonomously with minimal supervision
- Drive initiatives to completion in complex environments
- Experience in Life Sciences or Pharmaceutical environments
- Familiarity with Salesforce (especially Life Sciences Cloud)
- Experience with pharmacy or prescription management systems
- Exposure to AI, automation, or digital transformation initiatives
- PMP certification preferred
