Order Entry Specialist

TEKsystems is currently hiring to support a client in Gloucester County, NJ for an Order Entry Specialist. This role will support order-to-cash for customer sales orders and process them accurately in SAP.

Description

The Order Entry Specialist will be responsible for implementing and maintaining SAP processes related to customer creation, order entry, order acknowledgement, order fulfillment, invoicing, and shipping. This role requires a high sense of urgency and attention to detail along with a collaborative spirit to work with other functions on the rapid and accurate fulfillment of customer orders.

• Proficiency in SAP processes pertinent to customer creation, order entry, order acknowledgement, order fulfillment, invoicing and shipping.
• Input new customer information into SAP.
• Enter all customer orders accurately into SAP in a timely manner.
• Manage and update customer master data, ensuring accuracy and completeness of information.
• Distribute essential documents and information to internal and external customers to ensure orders are processed in a timely fashion.
• Generate and prepare delivery documentation, including picking lists, packing slips, and bills of lading (BOL).
• Verify that picked orders have been shipped to facilitate timely billing processes.
• Ensure accurate invoicing and confirm the presence of corresponding accounting documents in SAP.
• Implement additional controls as needed to ensure the smooth operation of SAP flows.
  
  
  

Qualifications

• SAP order entry experience
• Customer support and administration
• Microsoft office
• Proven ability to prioritize activities and manage time effectively.
• Strong history of collaboration, analytic and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to collaborate and perform effectively in a customer centric work environment.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Paulsboro, NJ.

Pay And Benefits

The pay range for this position is $28.00 - $32.00/hr.
