Home Loan Specialist

An entry-level role supporting various channels, acting as a key contributor to facilitate efficient and effective processes that support business and customer service objectives.

This position involves facilitating loan closings.

The Home Loan Specialist will be responsible for:

• Performing routine data entry and validation tasks;
• Initiating third-party orders (title, appraisal, hazard, flood cert, credit, etc.);
• Reviewing and validating loan documents;
• Handling routine calls, emails, and/or chat responses;
• Monitoring work queues and intervening as needed;
• Performing other related duties as required and assigned;

Preferred Skills & Qualifications

• Loan closing experience and funding;
• Title experience;
• Escrow experience;
• Understanding of the TRID rule;
• Associate's degree or equivalent work experience;
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office;
• Financial Services and, if possible, mortgage industry experience preferred;
• General understanding of applicable Federal, State, and Local regulations;

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $24.00 - $26.00/hr.
