Member Outreach Representative

Location: Remote (Must reside in Washington or Idaho)

Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM

Employment Type: Contract (2 months)

About The Role

We are seeking a Member Outreach Representative to join our team in a fully remote capacity. In this role, you will make outbound calls to members, assist with scheduling Annual Wellness Visits , and ensure they understand their health plan benefits. You will also help assign primary care providers, transition pharmacy items, and provide exceptional customer service to support member retention.

Key Responsibilities

• Make approximately 50 outbound calls per day to schedule wellness appointments.
• Educate members on their health plan benefits and available resources.
• Assist with assigning primary care physicians and pharmacy transitions.
• Resolve member inquiries and complaints via phone and written communication.
• Maintain compliance with HIPAA and protect patient health information at all times.
  
  
  

Required Qualifications

• Experience: Minimum 2 years in an insurance call center OR
• Minimum 1 year in a health plan or healthcare delivery system
• Education: High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Strong communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
• Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
• Computer proficiency and comfort with remote tools.
  
  
  

Preferred Qualifications

• Knowledge of medical terminology, insurance processes, and Medicare.
• Familiarity with appointment scheduling systems.
  
  
  

Remote Work Requirements

• Hardwired internet connection with 20 Mbps download / 8–10 Mbps upload.
• Quiet, private workspace to protect sensitive information.
• Ability to join virtual meetings with the camera on.

Pay And Benefits

The pay range for this position is $22.00 - $24.00/hr.
