This role is critical to keeping patient information accurate, organized, and compliant , ensuring providers and staff have what they need to deliver high‑quality care in a fast‑paced clinical environment.

- Maintain, organize, and manage patient medical records in compliance with HIPAA
- Review records for accuracy, completeness, and proper documentation
- Scan, upload, and index medical documents into the EMR system
- Retrieve and distribute medical records for providers and authorized requests
- Process medical record requests from patients, providers, and insurance companies
- Handle Release of Information (ROI) requests efficiently and securely
- Collaborate with front and back office teams to ensure smooth record flow
- Support daily administrative and operational tasks related to health information management
- Medical records or healthcare administrative experience
- EMR/EHR proficiency
- Knowledge of medical terminology
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Understanding of HIPAA and patient confidentiality
- Excellent organizational and multitasking skills
- Ambulatory or specialty clinic experience
- ROI processing experience
- Scanning and document management experience
- Strong customer service and communication skills
