Qualifications
- 1-2 years of medical administration experience
- Experience handling patient check in/insurance verification
- EMR knowledge
- Excellent communication skills
- Check people in as they enter the facility
- Verifying Insurance
- Answer incoming calls and directing callers to proper departments
- Collect co-pays from patients
- Assist with putting together reports and memos as needed
- Provide a positive experience for everyone entering facility
- Responding back to messages left by customers
- Assesses a high volume of incoming calls and requests
- Schedules appointments including but not limited to physicals, office visits, consults, Hospital follow ups and CDL exams for 100 multi-specialty physicians and other medical professionals.
