Medical Billing Assistant

My client, a reputable healthcare company, is hiring for a Medical Billing Assistant !

Job Description

• Billing Asst for the billing team.
• Will be taking payments or setting up payment plans, copays, posting payments, charge entry & reconciliation/review, keying into EPIC, working off EPIC work que to assist with overflow, data entry.
• Will be directly supporting all billers with other duties as assigned.
  
  
  

Qualifications To Apply

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Someone with Payment posting/charge entry/light medical billing/patient financial services experience
• 2 years related experience in an ADMN WITHIN BILLING TEAM/Any other similar function within billing such as prior-auth/AR/etc role in a healthcare setting
• Must have experience with excel, as they will be using it daily

This is a Contract position based out of Baltimore, MD.

Pay And Benefits

The pay range for this position is $19.00 - $22.00/hr.
