Join a Growing Healthcare Revenue Cycle Team We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced *Medical Biller* to join our healthcare operations team. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, enjoys problem-solving, and is passionate about ensuring accurate billing and reimbursement processes.
The ideal candidate will have strong knowledge of insurance billing, accounts receivable management, and claim follow-up procedures, along with the ability to work both independently and collaboratively.
Key Responsibilities
* Process and manage medical billing activities for hospital and healthcare services
* Post insurance payments accurately to open accounts receivable balances
* Investigate and resolve payment discrepancies through payer follow-up
* Review, process, and track insurance refunds in accordance with payer and regulatory requirements
* Monitor claim status through payer portals and direct communication with insurance carriers
* Work denials and aging accounts receivable to maximize reimbursement
* Maintain a strong understanding of payer guidelines, billing regulations, and reimbursement policies
* Prioritize multiple tasks while meeting productivity and quality expectations
* Participate in special projects and other duties as assigned
Qualifications Experience with *hospital billing*
Working knowledge of:
* Medicare
* Medicaid
* Commercial insurance plans
Experience with:
* Insurance denials management
* Accounts receivable follow-up
* Claims status review and resolution
* Payment posting
Ability to:
* Work independently with minimal supervision
* Collaborate effectively within a team environment
* Stay highly organized and detail-oriented
* Manage multiple priorities and deadlines
Experience using EPIC or similar healthcare billing systems preferred
Schedule & Work Environment

* 8-hour shifts
