What You’ll Do
- Lead Linux Operations: Own the administration, configuration, and security of Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL 9) and other Linux systems (Ubuntu, legacy CentOS).
- Automate Everything: Drive automation initiatives using Python, PowerShell, and tools like Ansible to streamline patching, hardening, and deployment.
- Cross-Team Collaboration: Partner with VMware, EMC, and Pure Storage teams to ensure seamless Linux integration across platforms.
- Innovate with Data: Contribute to exciting projects like Grok Stream, leveraging Red Hat for advanced data parsing and analytics.
- Modernize Infrastructure: Upgrade legacy systems and implement best practices for scalability and security.
- Deep expertise in Red Hat Linux administration
- Strong scripting skills in Python, PowerShell, or similar automation tools
- Experience with security hardening and automated patching
- Bonus: Familiarity with Ansible, Ubuntu, and CentOS migrations
