- Design, develop, and maintain enterprise Java applications
- Work on high-throughput, highly reliable systems
- Assist with application upgrades and modernization efforts
- Collaborate with senior engineers and architects on core platform improvements
- Participate across the full SDLC
- 1–3 years of hands-on Java development experience
- Experience working in enterprise environments (banking, financial services, or similar strongly preferred)
- Experience supporting production-level applications
- Understanding of object-oriented programming principles
- Strong communication skills
- Ability to work on-site in Annapolis, MD four days per week
- Exposure to messaging technologies:
- JMS
- IBM MQ
- RabbitMQ
- ActiveMQ
- Experience integrating Java applications with messaging systems
- Linux/Unix experience
- Agile environment experience
- Bachelor’s degree 1–3 years of experience
- Equivalent professional experience
