What are the responsibilities and job description for the Installation Technician position at TEKsystems?
Key Responsibilities
* Consult with customers to assess their needs and recommend the most appropriate systems and equipment solutions.
* Install, configure, and test equipment to ensure proper functionality, signal reception, and service activation.
* Evaluate site conditions and customer requirements to deliver the best possible solution for each location.
* Identify opportunities to improve system performance and functionality and provide recommendations to customers.
* Follow all company safety policies and procedures to prevent injury and protect property.
* Maintain accountability for company materials, tools, equipment, and ladders to prevent loss or damage.
* Ensure work areas are left clean and professional by removing debris, patching installation-related holes, and restoring the site to its original or better condition.
* Perform additional duties as assigned that support the organization's mission, vision, and core values.
Work Environment
* Work in a dynamic, customer-focused environment that emphasizes teamwork, collaboration, and exceptional service.
* Interact regularly with customers and colleagues to deliver effective solutions and a positive customer experience.
* Travel to customer homes and business locations to install, troubleshoot, and support equipment and services.
