Financial Planning Associate I

Position Overview

We are seeking a detail-oriented Financial Planning Associate I with 1–2 years of finance experience to support our operations team. This role focuses on creating and reviewing financial plans, ensuring accuracy, and delivering a high-quality client experience. The ideal candidate has strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and a collaborative mindset.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop basic to intermediate financial plans with a high degree of accuracy for assigned clients.
• Interpret financial plan outputs, identify inconsistencies, and resolve issues or escalate when necessary.
• Apply standard procedures and adapt to special instructions outside of normal guidelines.
• Perform final quality checks on financial plans completed by peers and junior team members.
• Utilize foundational planning and investment knowledge to improve workflows and flexibility.
• Recommend improvements to processes and standard work where opportunities are identified.
• Communicate professionally and effectively with team members and leadership.
• Provide and receive feedback openly to support a collaborative environment.
• Identify and question inconsistencies to ensure quality outcomes.
• Contribute ideas, insights, and solutions during team meetings, training sessions, and one-on-ones.
• Escalate complex or non-standard requests appropriately to mentors or team leads.
• Complete required training and learning modules within established deadlines.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance or a related field (preferred)
• 1–2 years of experience in finance or financial services
• Strong attention to detail and data accuracy skills
• Ability to interpret financial data and troubleshoot inconsistencies
• Effective verbal and written communication skills

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract position based out of Milwaukee, WI.

Pay And Benefits

The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $23.00/hr.
