Key Responsibilities
- Prepare, organize, and sort documents for data entry and digital conversion
- Review source documents for completeness and accuracy
- Enter and update information within internal databases and systems
- Scan, index, and electronically file physical records
- Verify entered data and resolve discrepancies as needed
- Obtain missing information for incomplete documentation
- Maintain document accuracy and data integrity standards
- Conduct quality checks to ensure completed work is accurate and complete
- Follow established procedures for records management and confidentiality
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Minimum 3 years of experience in a professional corporate environment
- Strong data entry and organizational skills
- Ability to handle large volumes of documents with a high degree of accuracy
- Proficiency with basic computer applications and data systems
- Excellent attention to detail and time management skills
- Associate's or Bachelor's degree
- Experience with document scanning, indexing, or records management
- Proficiency with Microsoft Excel
- Experience in financial services, insurance, or related industries
- Medical records processing experience is also highly valued
- Detail-oriented and highly accurate
- Comfortable working with both physical and electronic documents
- Able to manage repetitive tasks while maintaining quality standards
