As a Registration Clerk, you’ll play a vital role in patient intake, insurance verification, and supporting emergency medical staff.What You’ll DoGreet and register patients in the ERCollect and verify insurance and personal informationNavigate different registration workflows (e.g., uninsured, out-of-state)Collaborate with nurses, physicians, EMTs, and firefightersPush mobile computer stations and remain on your feet for extended periodsMaintain professionalism and empathy in high-stress situationsTraining & Support12-day onboarding: 1 day classroom 11 days hands-on shadowingAccess to job aids and SharePoint resourcesOngoing performance feedback and knowledge checksWhat We’re Looking ForStrong customer service skills and punctualityCompassionate, team-oriented, and eager to learnComfortable in a trauma center environment (blood, critical cases, 5150 patients)Ability to multitask in a chaotic, fast-moving ER settingany healthcare experience is a huge plus! (clinic, hospital, or other medical facility)Weekends and holiday are REQUIRED.
