🛠️ What You’ll Be Doing
- Install cable trays and build server racks
- Pull cable and fiber throughout massive data center spaces
- Learn to punch down and terminate fiber connections
- Route and dress cables using fish tape, J-hooks, D-rings, and more
- Perform grounding, fire-stopping, and low-voltage terminations
- Follow blueprints and complete documentation with precision
- Support technicians and team leads on large-scale infrastructure projects
- Telecom color codes and termination techniques
- Blueprint reading and construction best practices
- Data center buildout processes from start to finish
- Industry safety and quality standards
- Experience with hand tools and basic construction tasks
- Ability to follow instructions and work in a fast-paced environment
- Punctuality, teamwork, and a willingness to learn
