We are seeking a Tier 1 Desktop Support Technician to provide first‑level technical support in a Windows‑based corporate environment. This role is responsible for troubleshooting common end‑user issues, performing workstation imaging and deployments, and delivering excellent customer service to ensure smooth daily operations.
Responsibilities
- Provide Tier 1 desktop support for Windows 10/11 systems, troubleshooting basic hardware, software, and OS issues.
- Image, deploy, and configure laptops and desktops using standard imaging tools and procedures.
- Assist users with login issues, application support, printing problems, and peripheral setup.
- Perform basic hardware break/fix support for desktops, laptops, monitors, and accessories.
- Support Microsoft Office applications and common enterprise software.
- Document incidents, resolutions, and asset updates in the ticketing system.
- Escalate complex or unresolved issues to Tier 2 support teams as needed.
- Deliver friendly, professional customer service to users of varying technical skill levels.
- 1–2 years of experience in desktop support, help desk, or IT support roles.
- Hands‑on experience with Windows workstation imaging and deployment.
- Working knowledge of Windows 10/11 operating systems.
- Familiarity with basic hardware troubleshooting and peripheral support.
- Experience using ticketing systems (ServiceNow, Jira, or similar) is a plus.
- Strong communication skills and a customer‑focused mindset.
- Exposure to Active Directory (password resets, account unlocks).
- Familiarity with Microsoft Office 365.
- IT certifications such as CompTIA A are a plus.
