Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated Data Entry Representative to join our team. This role involves accurately inputting both alphabetic and numeric data into our systems while maintaining data integrity and confidentiality in accordance with company procedures and HIPAA regulations.

Responsibilities

• Collect, organize, and prepare source documents for data entry.
• Accurately enter both alphabetic and numeric data into the assigned system.
• Ensure data entered is free of errors by reviewing and correcting discrepancies.
• Follow company security and confidentiality procedures, especially regarding HIPAA regulations.
• Perform light office tasks such as filing, sorting, and proofreading as needed.
• Work independently and as part of a team to meet deadlines and quality standards.
  
  
  

Essential Skills

• Basic computer skills (Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook).
• Typing speed of at least 40 words per minute (WPM).
• Strong attention to detail and ability to identify errors or discrepancies.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information appropriately.
• Reliable, punctual, and able to stay focused in a busy environment.
  
  
  

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• No prior data entry experience required; we will train the right candidate!

Work Environment

Our work hours are from Monday to Friday, and this is an onsite role located in Woodbury, NY. This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Woodbury, New York.

Pay And Benefits

The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $20.00/hr.
