Are you a hands-on problem solver with a passion for hardware, Linux systems, and keeping mission-critical infrastructure running smoothly? We’re looking for a Data Center Operations Technician to join our team and help maintain the reliability, performance, and security of our data center environments.
What You’ll Do
- Ensure availability and reliability of data center services
- Diagnose and repair hardware and network issues
- Perform root cause analysis of failures and implement solutions
- Assemble, install, and maintain server and networking equipment
- Develop scripts to automate updates and maintenance tasks
- Maintain inventory and documentation
- Train internal teams and provide technical support
- Occasionally travel to other data centers as needed
- Experience with computer hardware (troubleshooting, assembling)
- Familiarity with Linux operating systems
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in elevated locations (with reasonable accommodations)
- Strong time management, organizational, and communication skills
- Willingness to work in a 24/7 environment, including on-call and after-hours support
