🛠 What You’ll Be Doing
- Independently pulling and routing low-voltage cabling (Cat5e, Cat6, Cat6A) through ceilings, conduit, and J-hooks
- Performing high-volume data terminations (RJ45, keystone jacks, patch panels) using T568A/B standards
- Dressing, bundling, and labeling cable runs to meet project and industry standards
- Working in MDF/IDF environments and maintaining clean, organized infrastructure
- Navigating active job sites safely while working with hand and power tools
- 2 years of commercial cabling experience (this is not an entry-level training role)
- Ability to work independently without constant supervision
- Experience with:
- Cable pulling in commercial environments
- Data terminations and punch-downs
- Blueprint/layout interpretation (a plus)
- Comfortable working on:
- Ladders and lifts
- Active construction sites
- Tight spaces
- Valid driver’s license & reliable transportation
- OSHA 10 certification
- Experience leading small crews or mentoring others
- Exposure to fiber optics, testing/certification tools, or security/AV systems
- Lift up to 50 lbs
- Stand, climb, and move throughout job sites daily
