Responsibilities
- Install, terminate, and test Cat6 network cabling for commercial environments.
- Perform troubleshooting and ensure proper connectivity and performance.
- Run and organize cable pathways according to industry standards.
- Provide excellent customer service during on-site visits.
- Maintain accurate documentation of work performed.
- Recent commercial cabling experience required (Cat6 is a must).
- OSHA 10 certification required; SST is a plus.
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
- Familiarity with network cabling standards and best practices.
- Reliable transportation required (travel between Nassau and Suffolk Counties).
- Valid driver’s license.
- Ability to work day shifts most of the time; night work availability is a plus.
