- Bachelor’s degree in information systems, computer science, or related field required, or equivalent experience may be considered.
- Three to five years’ experience working with Microsoft SQL Server, T-SQL, Visual Studio IDE, and SSIS (or equivalent ETL platforms) required.
- Working knowledge of transactional, analytical, big data structures preferred.
- Understanding database best practices and technologies such as types of compression, indexes, security, data types, and AlwaysOn preferred.
- Prior experience at an insurance company or on projects for an insurance company preferred.
- Current knowledge of computer hardware, operating systems, program language(s) and tools, testing techniques and tools, program specification and interpretation required.
- Working knowledge of systems design and analysis tools and techniques required.
- Willingness to pursue continuing job-related training and education in systems and insurance required.
