What You’ll Do
- Install and program commercial burglar alarm systems (Honeywell, DMP, Bosch)
- Install access control, CCTV, and card access systems
- Perform system testing and signal verification
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues with commercial intrusion systems
- Provide customer instruction and support on system operation
- Maintain truck inventory of tools and equipment
- Complete documentation and submit reports accurately and on time
- Communicate professionally with national account clients and internal teams
- Support new system installations, upgrades, and additions
- Adhere to safety standards and local/national codes
- 3–6 years of experience installing and programming commercial burglar alarm systems
- Experience with Compass (Honeywell) and RPS (Bosch) programming interfaces
- 2–6 years of experience troubleshooting commercial intrusion systems
- Strong communication and customer service skills
- High school diploma or vocational training
- Working knowledge of test equipment (multimeters, battery analyzers, decibel meters)
- Valid driver’s license and ability to pass a drug screening
- Detail-oriented with a strong work ethic
- Fire alarm installation experience (Silent Knight, FireLite, Bosch)
- Experience with national accounts and customer-facing roles
- Familiarity with local/national codes and compliance standards
- Strong financial potential with pay based on experience
