Accounts Receivable Representative

We are seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Accounts Receivable Coordinator to support daily accounting operations. This role is ideal for someone who is a self-starter, enjoys problem-solving, and thrives in a team-oriented environment. The Accounts Receivable Coordinator is responsible for processing customer payments, managing invoicing, resolving discrepancies, and maintaining accurate financial records while providing excellent customer service.

Key Responsibilities

• Process and record customer payments, including checks and electronic transactions
• Generate and manage customer invoices accurately and in a timely manner
• Monitor accounts to identify outstanding balances and follow up on overdue invoices
• Investigate and resolve billing discrepancies or payment issues
• Communicate with customers regarding account status and payment inquiries
• Maintain accurate records within accounting systems and databases
• Answer inbound calls professionally and provide support related to accounts receivable
• Assist with general administrative tasks and support accounting team projects
• Provide backup support for other accounting functions as needed
  
  
  

Required Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Basic accounting or accounts receivable experience
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (especially Excel)
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks
  
  
  

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in Revenue Cycle Management (RCM)
• Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or related field
• Prior experience working with invoicing or financial systems

This is a Contract position based out of Nashville, TN.

Pay And Benefits

The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $19.57/hr.
