Responsibilities
- Write and edit technical documents (manuals, TRDs, specifications)
- Review content for accuracy and clarity
- Prepare illustrations (charts, diagrams, drawings)
- Publish documentation in formats such as HTML, XML, and SGML
- Collaborate with engineers and team members
- Perform desktop publishing and research technical data
- Ensure compliance with technical writing standards
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in STEM or related field, or relevant military experience
- Experience with technical systems (radar, communications, or similar)
- Strong Microsoft Office skills
- Excellent organization and multitasking abilities
- Strong communication skills
- Active DoD Secret clearance
Preferred Qualifications
- 5 years technical writing experience
- Experience with Arbortext, MadCap Flare, or FrameMaker
- Knowledge of XML, SGML, HTML, S1000D, or DITA
- Familiarity with ASD-STE100
