Role Overview

What You'll Be Doing
- Plan, write, execute, and document manual software test cases in compliance with internal procedures and FDA/ISO standards
- Analyze system and software requirements to design effective test strategies and test suites
- Execute dry runs and formal Verification & Validation (V&V) activities
- Identify, document, track, and support resolution of software defects
- Configure and maintain test equipment and environments (mapping systems, monitors, amplifiers, RF generators)
- Participate in requirements, design, and test reviews to ensure traceability and quality
- Collaborate cross-functionally with software, systems, and quality teams
Training & Ramp-Up
- First 4 weeks: Structured training, self-paced learning, and shadowing
- By 90 days: Strong understanding of the application and independent test execution
- Longer term exposure to test development and automation as the team evolves
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Biomedical Engineering, or equivalent (required)
- 0-2 years of experience (entry level candidates encouraged to apply)
- Foundational understanding of software testing principles and methodologies
- Strong attention to detail, documentation, and problem-solving skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Willingness to learn and adapt in a regulated environment
Nice to Have
- Python coursework or 1-2 years of hands-on experience
- Exposure to medical device or regulated software environments
