P&C Techno-Functional Business Analyst
Location: Iselin, NJ (Hybrid – 3 days/week onsite mandatory)
Duration : Long Term
Overall Experience: 10–15 years, with 7 to 8 years in US Property & Casualty Insurance
Role Summary
We are seeking a Techno-Functional Business Analyst with strong expertise in US Property & Casualty (P&C) Insurance. The ideal candidate will work closely with onshore stakeholders and offshore delivery teams, focusing on requirements analysis, functional design, system configuration support, integrations, and testing across P&C insurance platforms.
Key Responsibilities
- Overall 12 to 14 years of Experience As A Techno Functional Business Analyst with strong P&C Exp.
- 7 to 8 Years in P&C Exp. Needed.
- Strong experience as a Technical Business Analyst (not purely functional) with knowledge on insurance domain including underwriting, claims, actuarial , exposure management.
- Should be able to lead meetings with both business and technical teams and support multiple projects/initiatives.
- Act as a liaison between business and technical teams with minimal guidance.
- Translate business requirements into clear technical requirements for implementation (AI projects, data initiatives, and AI governance projects)
- Hands‑on experience using Postman for API testing and validation.
- Solid understanding of REST APIs, JSON payloads, and integration patterns.
- Ability to contribute to architecture discussions, not just capture requirements.
- Should be able to handle data discrepancies between source to target ( strong SQL experience )
- Should be familiar with epics, features, user stories, data mapping, process flow diagrams.
- Ensure non‑functional requirements (security, performance, reliability) are considered and included.
