Job Title: OTA Validation Engineer
Location: Columbus, Indiana
Employment Type: Full-Time
Key Responsibilities:
- End-to-end validation of embedded, digital, and OTA solutions.
- Perform functional, regression, OTA, and data acquisition testing.
- Validate CAN, J1939, and UDS protocols.
- Use CANalyzer/PCAN for log analysis, simulation, and debugging.
- Validate OTA updates and backend-device integration using AWS/Azure.
- Perform defect analysis, root-cause debugging, and issue reproduction.
- Develop/maintain basic Python or test automation scripts.
- Document test cases, results, and defects in PLM tools.
- Participate in Agile sprints, defect triage, and cross-functional collaboration.
Must-Have Skills:
- Embedded/Device Validation
- OTA Testing
- CAN / J1939 / UDS
- CANalyzer / PCAN
- Test documentation & defect tracking
- Agile Testing
- Basic Cloud/Backend understanding
Preferred: Python automation Telematics/Connected Vehicle experience.
