What are the responsibilities and job description for the Oracle SCM Architect position at TekShapers?
Position: Oracle SCM Architect
Position type: FTE / Contract
Work location: Houston TX
Work mode: Hybrid(3 days onsite from client location)
- 10 years of experience with Oracle ERP, including at least 4–5 years with Fusion Cloud ERP.
- Hands-on configuration experience in following Fusion modules:
- Order Management
- Pricing
- Product Information Management
- Inventory / Costing
- Manufacturing
- Experience working with or supporting integration with Oracle CPQ and/or CRM (PRM/D365).
- Lead the implementation and rollout of Oracle Fusion ERP Cloud modules (Order Management, Pricing, etc.).
- Experience of Account Receivables and General Ledger is a plus
- Configure and maintain Order-to-Cash (O2C) processes in Oracle Cloud ERP.
- Collaborate with business units to gather and analyze functional requirements.
- Design and document functional specifications for integrations and extensions.
- Knowledge of Fusion Customer Data Model (TCA) and Enterprise Structures.
- Strong understanding of Quote-to-Order, Order Orchestration
- Experience working with REST/SOAP APIs, FBDI templates, and integration testing.
- Familiarity with Oracle Integration Cloud (OIC) or similar middleware is a plus.
- Exposure to multi-ERP environments (e.g., EBS or JD Edwards) and hybrid cloud scenarios.
- Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and cross-functional collaboration skills.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving ability with a process improvement mindset.
