Role Description
This is a full-time hybrid role for a Security Practice Lead, located in the New York City Metropolitan Area, with the flexibility to work remotely. The Security Practice Lead will drive the strategic vision, technical execution, and customer success of Tekscape's cybersecurity services. This leadership role oversees the development and delivery of security solutions across managed services, professional services, and compliance offerings. Responsibilities include defining Tekscape's cybersecurity roadmap across domains including Zero Trust, SASE, XDR, IAM, SIEM, and GRC; leading high-value security engagements such as penetration testing, vulnerability assessments, and incident response; architecting integrated solutions using platforms such as SentinelOne, Arctic Wolf, Microsoft 365, and Mimecast; and ensuring HIPAA, PCI, and regulatory compliance across client engagements. The individual will act as a subject matter expert and trusted advisor, providing guidance and expertise to clients while collaborating closely with sales and internal teams to shape and promote Tekscape's security packages and offerings.
Qualifications
• 7 years of experience in cybersecurity leadership, preferably within MSP or MSSP environments
• Expertise in network security, cybersecurity, and IT infrastructure management
• Experience in risk assessment, policy development, and regulatory compliance (HIPAA, PCI-DSS, NIST, ISO 27001)
• Strong leadership, project management, and communication skills
• Proven experience with SIEM, MDR, endpoint protection, and cloud security platforms
• Hands-on experience with Microsoft Azure security controls, policy enforcement, and DevOps integration
• Proficiency with Cisco technologies and platforms such as Arctic Wolf, SentinelOne, Microsoft Defender, Mimecast, and ConnectWise
• Ability to balance hybrid work responsibilities effectively
• Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field
• Relevant certifications such as CISSP, CISM, CEH, or CCSP are a plus
Compensation & Benefits
• $130-160k Salary
