A leading food manufacturing company is looking for a skilled Industrial Electrician to join its 2nd shift maintenance team. This role is key to ensuring reliable operation of high-speed production equipment in a clean, safety-focused environment. Shift:
- 2nd Shift: 2:00 PM – 10:30 PM
Key Responsibilities:
Perform electrical maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs on production and packaging machinery.
Diagnose and repair issues involving PLCs, motors, VFDs, relays, sensors, and control systems.
Conduct preventive and predictive maintenance to minimize downtime and improve reliability.
Read and interpret electrical schematics, blueprints, and technical documentation.
Ensure all electrical work meets safety, quality, and compliance standards.
Collaborate with maintenance and production teams to support continuous improvement initiatives.
Maintain accurate maintenance records and update the CMMS system.
Qualifications:
3 years of experience as an Industrial Electrician in a manufacturing environment (food or packaging preferred).
Strong knowledge of PLC logic, control circuits, and instrumentation.
Experience with 480V 3-phase systems, low-voltage controls, and automation equipment.
Ability to troubleshoot both electrical and mechanical issues.
Familiarity with Lockout/Tagout (LOTO) and OSHA safety standards.
Technical certification, journeyman’s license, or related trade schooling is a plus.
